Deerfield Beach is located just 16 miles north of Fort Lauderdale in Broward County on the border with Palm Beach County. This seaside community once known as Hillsboro has a thriving tourism industry, an important manufacturing and distribution economy within South Florida and a great quality of life for its inhabitants with numerous parks and special events throughout the year.

Special events and celebrations happen throughout the year in Deerfield Beach. The annual Deerfest celebration features arts and crafts, live entertainment, carnival rides and a variety of foods.
