Aventura is centrally located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale in the northeastern part of Dade County. Once a marshy swampland of scrub pine, "the city of excellence" is now known for lush tropical foliage, large-scale condominium complexes, secure communities and first class amenities.

If outdoor activities are your pleasure there is Aventura Founders Park, Waterways Park and the Country Club Drive Exercise Path. Founders Park has clay tennis courts, athletic fields for baseball, football and soccer, an exercise trail and age appropriate children's playgrounds. Around the Turnberry Isle Resort Golf Course there is a 3 mile exercise path to walk, bike, run, jog and roller-blade.
